I have been a classroom teacher for seven years.  Along the way, I have gotten so many great ideas from searching teaching blogs that have definitely made me a better teacher.  So, I thought it was my turn to start sharing.   I am new at blogging so please be patient with me. My site is not yet cute and adorable like many I have seen out there but, it is a work in progress, so stay tuned for fun and exciting changes. 🙂

I teach a fairly specialized group of students.  All of my students are either Deaf of Hard of Hearing.  It has been a really fun ride so far and I have learned so much, not just in the teaching realm but also in getting a glimpse into the world of deaf and hard of hearing kids in today’s world! What a learning experience it has been for me! I can only hope that my students have learned as much as I have!

I will be sharing some of the fun things that we have done in the past year as well as some new developments for the future.  I hope you enjoy riding along with me as I ponder,  DID I REALLY SIGN UP FOR THIS? 🙂
