I have been a classroom teacher for seven years. Along the way, I have gotten so many great ideas from searching teaching blogs that have definitely made me a better teacher. So, I thought it was my turn to start sharing. I am new at blogging so please be patient with me. My site is not yet cute and adorable like many I have seen out there but, it is a work in progress, so stay tuned for fun and exciting changes. 🙂
I teach a fairly specialized group of students. All of my students are either Deaf of Hard of Hearing. It has been a really fun ride so far and I have learned so much, not just in the teaching realm but also in getting a glimpse into the world of deaf and hard of hearing kids in today’s world! What a learning experience it has been for me! I can only hope that my students have learned as much as I have!
I will be sharing some of the fun things that we have done in the past year as well as some new developments for the future. I hope you enjoy riding along with me as I ponder, DID I REALLY SIGN UP FOR THIS? 🙂
Hi Mrs. Burgen! I love it! We are all grown up and finally teaching! This is the start of my 8th year with DHH babies and toddlers! SO MUCH FUN! I do home visits and teach a socialization group 3 mornings a week! Miss you and all the “fun” we had in college! HAHA! Excited to be able to follow you on here!
I'm looking forward to see more entries from you!…. I'm heartsick for Idaho and you guys! 🙂 HUGS!
