I have SOO much to blog about this week but I will try to squeeze it all into FIVE for Friday.
First of all, you may have noticed my new blog design! This was on my “to do” list for this year. I started my blog last year, I have struggled through and LEARNED SO MUCH, but at the end of the day, I am really just not that tech savvy…. SO….. I searched for a designer and I found Megan at A Bird in Hand Designs . I am SO thrilled with what she did! I hope you love it too! She made the blog design, a FaceBook cover page, a TPT banner and a few other goodies for AN AMAZING price! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY blogger right here!!
Its my birthday!!!!!! Yep that’s right, 1-23 is my birthday. As I delve into the 40-somethings I have to look back at my year and reflect about how amazing it has been! There have a few downs as I had a few people close to me pass away last year (including one of my students) but I will discuss that later in a separate blog post. (stay tuned for a tear jerker “What Josh Taught Me” ) For the most part my life has been pretty AMAZING so far. I am married to a man that loves me, I live in a beautiful area and I am working at my dream job. I continue to make progress in my fitness. Last year I started a blog and began making This has been a wonderful addition to my life and my teaching abilities and fulfilled a networking need that I didn’t even know I had! I have enjoyed meeting and networking with other teachers. I feel like this journey has only just begun. It really IS a whole new world!

ARCTIC ANIMALS
Yes we actually DID work in the classroom this week amid all the fun! We began our polar animals unit. I LOVE teaching about animals. It is always so engaging. I haven’t found a student yet that is not motivated to learn about animals. We made these cute little polar bears during our visit to the library.

What a great field trip for your students! It looked like a lot of fun! We take our D/HH kids on a two night/three day field trip each year. This is an amazing adventure to gain some real life skills and experiences. They learn so much from field trips!
Can't wait to see the ASL clip art!
